Stardrix 3-Piece ADA Grab Bar Set, 18/36/42 Inch, 500 lb – Brushed Stainless Steel

This is a complete set of grab bars that can assure ADA compliance for one commercial toilet, and they are also appropriate for residential use when properly mounted. They are 1.5" in diameter, have a brushed texture to allow for a sure grip when wet or dry and feel very hefty and sturdy in their construction. There are multiple mounting holes on each bar to ensure capture of properly-placed studs and comes with screws meant for wood. If you want to place them in concrete or use a third-party rated anchor system, you'll need to get those solutions separately. If the walls have blocking or the studs line up correctly installation couldn't be easier, and the flanges are a little loose but cover all of the mounting holes completely. A dot of silicone will keep them from moving unless you want them to. Finally the price is excellent. I expect them to last as long as the bathroom they're placed in.

Bought for a ADA restroom renovation. The Bars are well made with plenty of mounting holes in the wall flanges. I installed extra backing in the studded walls and tapcons in the brick behind the drywall.

This set of grab bars is solid. If installed correctly, it will provide reliable, safe support. The kit includes almost everything you need to complete the chore except anchors. Make sure you use an appropriate anchoring system suitable for the surface you attach the bar against. Also make sure to waterproof the drilled area if the bar is anchored in a wet adjacent environment. I used silicone caulk. Installation does require power tools like drills and screwdrivers. It is a handyman level experience. Installation only took me about an hour. But it might have been quicker if I allowed swearing on site.

I had knee replacement surgery and own an old 1926 house with a high tub and no grab bars. I always resisted installing them because of the house's age but after the surgery, I saw these and ordered them. Installation was easy as screws were included. I put the small one in the smaller tub and the 3' one in the larger bathroom. Although these are commercial grade bars they look fantastic. I can't believe I waited this long. The bar enabled me to get in and out of the tub with relative ease and gave me the stability to take a much desired shower. The longer one I plan to use at our vacation place. The bar is easy to hold and is obviously very sturdy. The brushed look makes it look great. To get three for one price is a great value. I had no idea what a great idea this is until I needed it.

As a builder, more and more people ask me to install ADA grab handles throughout the house. It's a great idea to put these anywhere you have a step or entrance door, for any person who needs to occasionally catch themselves. I installed one in the bathroom around the water closet, one on the garage entrance door, and one in the RV shower (rv has solid 3/4" plywood walls and cabinets from manufacturer.) This set is a fraction of the cost of a big box store, and just as good. It comes complete with stainless screws, but I recommend using deck screws, since they have better sheer strength. My reviews are based off decades in the trades and what works! This is an excellent product that will last a lifetime.

Good quality I was surprised at the length of the long one but it actually works real well across the wall by the toilet in the shower together. I used all three. Quality is good and use them for 2 years. Grip sizes good installation works well.

Installation was easy and they are very nice looking and have solid support when used for getting up and down. They come in varying sizes to match you needs and space restrictions. This is a good value since they are not only ADA complaint but also they look and feel solid when mounted to studs or tile. Of you do not have studs to mount to make sure you use heavy grade mounting hardware - which I do sparingly due to possible safety issues for my parents. But they do function as intended which is to keep my parents from falling while unattended.

I was on the fence about which size would be best, and although I could measure it, it just wasn't the same as holding them up and taping them up temporarily to see what would work. You can't beat the value of this set of all 3 sizes anyway. They are also better quality than others I have used. The finish is perfect and the fact that everything comes assembled on the bar (aside from the screws) is really helpful. They are very sturdy and should hold up extremely well.

I picked these to add to our shower we recently remodeled. They will provide handles for if we slip in the shower or just to be more stable in general. They are very nice. They come with all the hardware required for install and are really easy to put in. The three sizes give you plenty of options to find something to fit your space. They are really well made and feel very sturdy once screwed to a stud.
