This is the best thing in my shower, I just had my bathroom and shower remodeled, I thought I'd have them put in a seat for when I get real old, and guess what? I'm using it now, it's so comfortable, and functional, It's stable, easy to install, folds up out of the way, very sturdy, and nice looking, Price was really good considering some others I looked at.

This is a great shower seat for anyone who wants the comfort and safety of sitting while showering. It's especially good for those with a smaller shower because its dimensions are perfect for small spaces. It folds up nicely when not needed. The seat is well-made, sturdy and attractive. The neutral colors and styling work well with any decor.

I ordered this folding shower bench for an upcoming remodel and have been genuinely impressed with its quality. The seat surface feels durable, easy to clean, and far superior to typical wood alternatives, it resists moisture and will give a sleek, professional look to any space. Installation was straightforward, thanks to the included template and long stainless-steel screws. It’s possible to install solo, but having an extra set of hands makes the process even smoother. Just be sure to add solid wall blocking during the install to ensure it supports full weight, safely. Once installed, the bench should be sturdy, have no wobble or flex even when fully loaded. The stainless steel brackets are heavy-duty and well-made. The 18"x16" size is just right: roomy enough to sit comfortably or even use for balance while bending down, yet compact enough to fold up neatly when not in use. This bench is perfect for anyone looking to improve accessibility or add a safe, stylish seating option to their shower or any area that needs a fold down seat. Overall this folding seat looks very good, on closer inspection the welds and overall finish are a little rough. Nothing looks bad or unfinished it is just not as well done as the one I used at physical therapy. I see why now the one at physical therapy is bolted to a thick piece of wood. The seat is very thick and heavy and it has to support up to 400 lbs, they even state in the instructions to use 2" thick wood as a backing. I thought I was going to install this myself but will hire a pro to install instead as it does not look easy to install. It is to bulky and heavy for me to deal with. I was surprised it only came with mounting screws but no wall anchors. Also I don't know the ADA rules for installing this in my area. Hopefully it will fold, function and be as sturdy well as the one at physical therapy. Looking forward to many years of use after the job is finished.

I have a relative that is in needs of support in the shower. While shower chairs can be useful, they can to get in the way and do not provide the firm, stability of a wall mounted seat. This folding seat is made of 304 Stainless steel with a White, maintenance free phenolic seat. It is ADA compliant and rated to support up to 400 pounds. It is listed as suitable for home and commercial use. The hinged folding design is secure with vertical legs to trip on. Mounting hardware is included. It should be firmly mounted to the wall. While anchors are generally okay, finding a wall stud would be the most secure way to mount it. As for build quality, it is very strong and solidly made. Overall, I find this to be an excellent folding seat.

This reminds me of the shower seats at my high end gym. Made so well and built like a battleship. The only issue may be installation which will likely cost more than the seat of you don’t have masonry walls. Like so many of these seats I’ve reviewed, the attachment points are significantly narrower than standard US frame homes with 16” on center joists. So additional reinforcement will be needed before mounting this in a frame house. Other than that this thing is amazing and commercial quality in every way with 100% non-magnetic stainless throughout, rust should never be an issue. I could also envision this as perfect for an outdoor shower. Recommended if you can install at a reasonable cost. The price of this seat is reasonable for its quality.

I installed this folding shower seat for my elderly parents, and it was an excellent decision. It's sturdy, comfortable, and very safe. They can sit comfortably while bathing without fear of slipping. Plus, the design is sleek and folds easily when not in use, saving space. It looks modern and fits perfectly in the bathroom. It has given them much more confidence when showering alone. Highly recommended.

This seat is really well made. Was surprised at the weight and quality of the metal. All installation instructions and templates are included. We have not used yet as our tub is being replaced with a walk-in shower. So when finished and we’ve had a chance to use I’ll update. But just inspecting and discussing with contractors it appears this will be a durable product. Seat is very well made and leg support design is better than most per the contractor. He thinks it will last years. I’ll update when he’s finished.

A must have for seniors. Excellent for showering and bathing. Ensures safety.

Folds to take up very little space in the shower. I was concerned about stability, as there are no legs that come down for support. Was very pleasantly surprised to see how sturdy the seat feels.

I am very satisfied with this chair because it is very luxurious and beautiful. If I have the opportunity, I will continue to buy more and recommend it to my friends.

We are remodeling a shower to make it more accessible for our parents as they are getting older. One thing we are adding is a seat so they can sit while showering and this is an excellent choice. The build is top quality, no sharp edges anywhere! It is solid and very stable when opened, but simple to fold away. Having it bolted to the wall means it stays in place much better than the movable ones. It also doesn't take up much space. Assembly was simple but did require some planning to ensure proper reinforcement in the walls. Overall, if you need a shower seat, this one is really fantastic.

This feels surprisingly sturdy. I am very large, and find that this has no give to it. The only issue I have is that it occasionally squeaks when opening/closing; but some waterproof silicone spray into the hinges mitigates that.

Great quality and nice addition to y new shower.

It’s sturdy. My brother installed it without problems. As I am older I don’t have to worry about falling while cleaning my feet or shaving my legs.
